It’s “Get ‘Er Done” Day! 

First, I caught up on Carol Doak’s Mystery Block of the Month with the September block Split Feather:

And I worked on the binding for the Civil War Sampler Quilt.  This is a KING size quilt and I feel like the binding goes on and on forever!  One of my favorite new tools for binding are these thingy’s:

You just clip them on the edge to hold your binding as you go.  No pokey pins and they sure save stress and strain on your fingers! Here they are on the binding:

Oh, and look!  You can see some of the gorgeous quilting on the back.  Wait til you see the front!  It was quilted by Susan Corbett (Fort Worth, Texas) and she is amazing.  I’ll take many more photos when I finally finish the binding, the label and the hanging sleeve attached.
