Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow

No, it’s not snowing here in North Texas but there are a bunch of snowmen (and ladies) in my quilt studio! And maybe a snowflake or two!

I finished the last Postcard Cuties For Winter block!  This snow-lady is so cute with a ribbon in her hair and matching purse:

Postcard-Cuties-Block-12I’ve got all the blocks put together and have started the scalloped applique on the border.

I’ve also finished the last block in the Carol Doak Mystery Block of the Month!  Now use your imagination – it sort of looks like a snowflake, right?

Square-Up---March-BlockThe last clue will have instructions on how to put all the blocks together.  But half the fun is guessing the final layout.  Here’s my best guess:

Mystery-GuessNow it’s back to work on the Case of the Secret Garden Mystery Quilt.  I’ve only got 16 (out of 72) units stitched from Clue 3 and Clue 4 came out Monday.  I’m a bit behind!  But heck, I’ve had to dig out from under all this snow in my quilt studio!  😉

  1. Hi from snowy Canada! Love the snowmen. I wanted to make snow angels in the parking lot last night. Tons of new fallen snow here. So pretty! Then this morning there were probably 3 more inches on the car. It’s a winter wonderland! Your snowmen fit right in and made me smile.
