Last week the world famous, international JSS bee got together for Bee Day! Lynn was our gracious hostess and we were quite bee-dazzled with her beautiful home (decorated for Easter), her baked potato bar and especially by her Uncle Ed. Thank you Lynn!!!
Of course, we all had to have our picture taken with Ed. He was quite the gentleman and very stoic through the process. And very sensitive – it seems he was reading a quilting magazine.
Sorry about the teeny tiny pictures! I forgot my camera card and these are courtesy of Judy and her cell phone. Thanks Judy!!! I discovered my error after most of the Uncle Ed photos were taken and started taking with my cell phone – so the rest will be bigger, but not necessarily better!
Show and tell was almost as bee-dazzling as Uncle Ed!
Judy had two amazing pictures and one amazing quilt for her show and tell!
Because Lynn is so very interested in wool crazy quilts right now, Tracey brought this pretty wall hanging. And for Easter, she brought these gorgeous Faberge eggs.Pam brought this really neat basket made from a Jelly Roll. She’s going to be teaching a Jelly Roll basket workshop at Trinity Valley Quilters’ Guild in June! Woohoo! I have the perfect Jelly Roll set aside for this workshop!
We even had lots of stitching going on! I worked on my Case of the Secret Garden blocks (no pictures, sorry). Kay had this really neat book of embroidery stitches and she was practicing:
Nancy was working on her bats – love the double glasses look! Glad to know I’m not the only one who does that!
Judy (my co-photographer) and I hope you all had an absolutely bee-dazzling Easter!
