While it is still July, I thought I’d post a few pictures from the JSS July Bee Day!
Thank you to Cindy, our gracious hostess – sharing her beautiful home and her beautiful grandchildren! Wyatt was a hoot as Judy taught him about needles, thimbles and wads of thread. And how about this sweet grandbaby caught on camera as I shot a picture of a quilt. Photo bombing at such an early age! 😉
Judy wins the prize for the most show and tell. First she had this cute puppy beach towel to show.
And some bright new kitchen table runners.
How about a close up of the one featuring some of Sally’s apron patterns. Judy said two aprons was enough. I love some of the detail, like the teeny tiny rick rack on the aprons.
Judy also shared this pretty teal and gray quilt:
Karen made this baby quilt with Little Rascals fabric that reminder her of the mom. Since the fabric is rather “boyish” Karen was happy to find out that the mom is expecting a boy!
Judy grabbed my camera and shot this picture of me with my show and tell – the fourth month of the Le Jardin block of the month.
Nancy had these perky little penguins (Nancy was quite perky this month! 😉 ).
And Nancy also brought this Welcome wall hanging made for her by ______________. Nancy, help me out – was it Madelyn? Bee brown bag challenger? I’ve slept since last Thursday!
Of course, all the food was simply fabulous! One of my favorites was this wonderful whipped feta brought by Lynn along with assorted homemade jams. The fig jam was scrumptious!
Can you believe that we have had 6 birthdays this month! So, naturally, there was birthday cake:
And some of the birthday gals gathered around:
After lunch we spent some good quality time chatting, laughing and stitching. It was wonderful! See y’all next month!
