Last week was our JSS Bee Retreat at Compass Centre. It was absolutely fabulous! We had the best time, with lots of stitching, laughing, eating and fun!
We had a brand new fresh batch of newbies and a newbie coordinator (Cindy) who took the experience up to a whole new level!
I took a bajillion pictures of quilts on the design walls! Every once in a while I would get up with my camera and take a “walk about” the room to photograph all the amazing work. Now, sometimes a quilt would show up on the wall and I had no idea who did it and before I knew it, it would be gone. So in order to show you as much as possible without spending the next two months writing witty verbiage about each picture, I’m just going to dump them all right here for you to see. You can make up your own interpretations. 🙂
I know I said I wasn’t going to comment, but the fun 3 pictures below was a sale – all the fabric you could stuff in a quart bag for $5 or gallon bag for $10. It was a crazy scrabble for the best and a major effort to zip up the bags! Quilt retreat is like summer camp. So much fun, so little sleep, so many wonderful memories! When’s the next one???
